Currently there are more than a thousand infectious diseases known in medicine that require diagnostic testing. There are also testing needs in many other areas including: drug consumption, toxins in food and agricultural products, genetically modified organisms, cancer markers, bio-threat agents, and allergic & immune response parameters.

LamdaGen’s POC “Lite-Path” ver. 3.23
is not much larger than a television
remote or modern cell phone.

Traditional diagnostic testing is performed in centralized laboratories located in Hospitals, Medical Centers and Clinics. Centralized analysis has a number of advantages including close proximity to in-patients, professional staff to manage the devices and results, plus the ability of processing hundreds of samples concurrently in multi-parallel formats.

Disadvantages of Centralized Laboratory Testing include:

LamdaGen’s small battery-operated handheld POC diagnostic testing platform “Lite-Path” is being produced to provide sensitive and precise results as well as rapid turnaround time, operational and physical robustness and low cost. LamdaGen’s “Lite-Path” works directly from clinical samples including urine, whole blood and other bodily fluids and due to its field mobility the platform avoids sample storage and transportation.

LamdaGen’s platform rapidly & specifically differentiates between various targets simultaneously, including such things as virus or bacteria on the same sensor.
